Could anyone make any suggestions as to what this noise could be ...... when I accelerate in 1/2/3 up to 2500 revs there’s a noise - sounds like a vibration noise of some sort.
Just got the car from a dealership, 2017 1.2 Petrol N-Connecta Dig-T
Cabin Noise

sounds like something resonating at certain rpm
Possibly one of the following.
Aircon pipes on the bulkhead
Heatshield under the the car.
Air filter box
Windscreen scuttle trim.
As with all noises , hard to tell unless you are there.
I would take it back to the dealer

I have the same noise on my QQ 2017 67 1.2 petrol. Sounds to be coming from under the drivers side? Also have a rattle from near passenger side air vent inside & a noise from under the bonnet when I let off the throttle? Only had the car 2 weeks so plan to take it back to the Nissan garage.

My car is a diesel, but the same may apply- Try checking the connection along the air inlet duct between the filter and inlet. On my car, the anti rattle felt pad on the mating face of the joint was misplaced. The noise seemed out of all proportion to the cause. A bit of gaffer tape to extend the anti rattle pad fixed it. Good luck
The dealers put a self tapping screw into each joint - seems to work.blueyonder wrote: ↑Thu Feb 17, 2022 6:13 pm My car is a diesel, but the same may apply- Try checking the connection along the air inlet duct between the filter and inlet. My air vents are a night mare - every Qashqai has had the same issue - poor quality materials built down to a spec.

Sorry for bringing this up after over a year. I have a similar issue and I've narrowed it down to where the cabin filter is. While testing (I had to keep it in D, with a wheel stop), at certain RPMs, the noise will come on. And as I remove the cabin filter, the noise goes away. I'm pretty certain it's something related to that. I've added in a fresh filter and the sound comes back on. The profile does seem to shift a bit. Weather, turning and even AC fan blower speed seems to change the volume and occurrence of this noise.
The air inlet duct and filter you're referring to is the ones accessible in the bonnet?
My noise is coming from where the cabin filter is.
Thanks.
