Where are you based?

I know mine isn't super loud but it is all set up and working, so might just leave it as it is

So, I ordered the wrong map light unit :D

Whilst it has the correct microphone it doesnt have the alarm sensors and I also notice all of the new map lights dont have the button to disable the motion sensors as this is now done on the clocks.

My plan is to mount (glue) the new microphone in the original map light unit with 2 small holes drilled unless anyone can tell me a better way?

Hi everyone been reading the post and the only thing wrong with mine is PA and the volume? Put the volume on 40 which it can't go any higher and not half as loud as my original HU?

Must be just the way the radio is?? Anyone know were the park assist modules are??

This looks to be a later module than the below

The later one appears to show a 20 pin and 40 pin connector and the old at a guess I would say is a single 40 pin connector .

Mine is a Non-Bose HU in a Bose car and it's loud. as someone else said maybe the Non Bose/Bose setting in the HU reduces the line out level for the amp. When I do the self test in the hidden menu I get a red box "speaker fault" because the HU can't see the speakers -it sees a Bose Amp. Would be interesting what the Bose HU in a non-Bose vehicle sees in the selftest menu. Nissan have access to this setting with Consult III but aren't very interested in trying it.

Is there anything identifiable on a Bose HU? Physically or in software?
