Upgrade SD satnav to non-SD satnav

Is there anything identifiable on a Bose HU? Physically or in software?

Not that I know of. Just the listing in Consult iii . Bose/Non Bose

So I was all good to go this morning and it didnt work. I'm pretty sure the harness adapter is wrong. I have reviewed the previous posts but am getting confused any direction of clips etc. Any pictures / diagrams would be appreciated. I feel pretty stupid right now that my head wont get this

Is that with the filter or just connecting the radio up?
I'd do the radio first and check that works before doing filter..

I did it ! Only blew the radio fuse once

All working with the filter. Volume seems fine and checked the diag part of mine and was all green and no mention of an amp. 20-30 seems to be the volume id have it at but can put it to 40 without it being unbearable.

As others have noted , park assist is no longer available.

I think if you change radio you will not have the birds eye camera system, you can update sat nav by buying a new sd card.

I know mine isn't super loud but it is all set up and working, so might just leave it as it is

Mine is a Non-Bose HU in a Bose car and it's loud. as someone else said maybe the Non Bose/Bose setting in the HU reduces the line out level for the amp. When I do the self test in the hidden menu I get a red box "speaker fault" because the HU can't see the speakers -it sees a Bose Amp. Would be interesting what the Bose HU in a non-Bose vehicle sees in the selftest menu. Nissan have access to this setting with Consult III but aren't very interested in trying it.

I have done the self test in the hidden menu now.
Everything passes.. it's a non Bose car but volume is not loud. I presume it would fail on a connection test if it was expecting a Bose amp.
Strange how everything passes, the guy in the video, who has done similar to us, had things fail and expected them to do so

what i understood from the whole story don't get radio with the PP they don't match our cars perfectly so we shouldn't put these on.
