I was in Australia recently and hired an X-Trail to see what it was like. Predictably it was very similar to a Qashqai.
It was a five-seater and quite a lowly spec. Petrol auto. AC but not climate. Reversing camera but no detectors and no 360. Keyless go but manual foot(hand)brake. Low rent stereo without sat nav or DAB.
Drove well though... and rode well on 17" alloys!
Then I hired a Tucson - which I preferred, partly because of a lower bonnet - the X-Trail had forward visibility issues...

Congrats.
Mine is 3 years old now with 30k on the clock.
Personally I will wait for the new model to arrive hopefully in 2020 as I believe the equipment will be much more up to date in the new model, maybe even digital dash with maps etc. like the VW's and Audi's, there isn't enough changes in the facelift to make me want to change now.

Collected today and I must say I'm over the moon.
What a lovely car
was a bit dubious on the colour but all good now
. Loved my QQ but this is next.....hot or cold cup holders +heated seats all round +heated steering wheel + twin front electric seats + power point in boot.and more.. I've enjoyed this forum and had some good tips well done guys.

DD41, the new X-Trail is looking nice and the color in Gun Metal looks better than I thought it would (my wife is pleased). Enjoy your time with it but keep in touch - All the Best Dave
