Traction control issue!

My traction control lights came on after fitting new clock spring. Does this mean clock spring faulty?.
I've been following this thread. I also have the same error on my Dashboard. It came on after I'd changed the clock spring (supplied by the dealer) for a Drivers Airbag Sensor fault.
I have a Qashqai+2 1.6 petrol, so it can't be the DPF. The Code reader doesn't pick it up at all.
All I can think of is the Clock supplied by the dealer is faulty and it's a dealer only part in the UK (Costs £230+VAT). I've checked and changed all Brake Discs and Pads so not that either.
Anyone any idea's on this please

Strange...from diagnostics I'd of said it was a misaligned Steering Angle Sensor. That is in the very close vicinity to the Clock Spring. A positional disturbance of the steering sensor could cause the Electronic Stability System to fail and ultimately raise the SLIP lamp ON.
Diagrams of the Combination Meter do not show any wire from the Clock Spring related to Vehicle Stability (SLIP)...nor should it. SLIP errors are raised by the ECU which has no input from the steering wheel itself.
