On a different marque, had a problem with rear sensors not working nor reversing lights; do your reversing lights work?
2014-19 J11A-14 1.5dci Ink Blue Tekna owner; now departed for a Mazda CX-5 GT Sport Nav, 2.0L Petrol
Hi, apologies for reviving an old thread but did anyone find a fix for this issue? Mine now has the same fault. Parking sensor light flashes and no sensors work when the rear sensors are enabled but front ones will work with the rears disabled. I did check and could hear all the sensors clicking with the ignition on and reverse engaged, even the rear ones which seems strange.
Thanks,
Dan
Thanks,
Dan
I have the same problem, total failure of parking sensors however the front ones will work if I switch the rear off in the settings.
This was in intermittent fault for a couple of months and then became permanent.. has anyone managed to find cause or solution to this problem?

Hi,
I had this problem too. Twice.
The problem is in rear speaker. Net sensors, not control unit, not camera but simple speaker.
My car is 2015 and still under warranty and this problem started first time on winter 2016. First symptom was when put in revers beeping was different, typical sound of broken speaker, and immediately after that parking system failure.
I went to dealer and they immediately knew what was the problem. Poor quality speaker and humidity. It is located in the trunk somewhere on the left.
After that no problems until winter 2018. same distorted beeps and same fault again.
Back to dealer, new speaker and all ok again.
Now I'm waiting winter 2020 and no waranty

Thank you, I had a feeling it was the buzzer as it does work intermittently but the buzzer sounds awful. I guess the next job is to remove the trim in the boot and try to find it. The wires from the sensors all go in to the boot on the left so I'll start there! Hopefully Nissan sell the buzzers without the sensors and wiring kits.
Thanks again,
Dan
Thanks again,

Hi All,
I have had a read through the previous forum posts on this issue. I'm experiencing the same fault with the flashing parking sensor button (2014 Acenta Premium) - which then clears when the rear sensors are disabled. (The fronts work fine).
I have tried to locate the rear parking sensor buzzer behind the left boot light trim:
But the only device I can see there is "CONT ASSY-SIREN" Part Number "28487 4BA0A"
This appears to be much larger than the results of a google search for a qashqai parking sensor buzzer https://www.google.com/search?ei=jC8RXb ... vvrWB6ESns
I have also found this link http://zinref.ru/avtomobili/Nissan/004_ ... H/2064.htm which shows a CAD image of what the buzzer should look like in situ (SN-50 item 9) however I can't work out exactly what I am looking at. Or where this in within the book of the QQ. It states to remove the parcel shelf finisher and then locate the buzzer- though the parcel shelf "finisher" is just the parcel shelf :

Can anyone point me in the direction of where the rear parking sensor buzzer is located? Any steer here would be much appreciated,

Hi Noddy,
Yep I had a copy of the maintenance manual linked above. But was none the wiser even with the images they had.
I have found the location though.
Went to a main dealer for a test drive in the same year and model.
Buzzer is located behind the rigid grey plastic panel on the left hand side of the boot. The panel that holds the light.
To get at it had to take the parcel shelf out and then "pop" the panel off. Its in with a series of plastic fasteners.
Buzzer sits a little higher than the light a few inches towards the front of the car. Easy to spot in daylight with just the first few plastic fasteners popped out.
