Hello,

Got the same issue yesterday. Firstly thanks for the posts here these have been very helpful. Does anyone know what this part costs and if it is worth getting from Nissan or an auction site? Surely can't be hard to fit albeit once located.?

Nissan qashqai 2014 tekna owner.

Thanks

Hi 9qq,

So did you replace the part and resolve the problem? I’ve had a look but can’t find the buzzer, only what you described the first time. All of my sensors make a clicking sound so it’s not the sensors themselves

For anyone else with this issue I found the buzzer located higher up in the rear left quarter in a section above the one with the boot light in. Replacing the buzzer fixed my issue and now the whole system works

Hi Timf and to all of those that have shared their experiences on this.

I've had the same issue for a few weeks now. Front sensors fine, no apparent issues with sensors themselves. Parking button light flashing to indicate error in drivers side.

Intermittently I'll get a sound from rear sensors when I apply reverse gear, albeit very distorted and for a second before receiving the parking sensor system fault error. I'm confident it's the buzzer that's gone.

Could you kindly please let me know where you purchased your replacement? Keen to have a go at fixing this myself if I can, rather than taking to dealer.

Thanks again all!

Happened to me yesterday only after Nissan serviced my Qashqai. Picked up the car and when I got home I noticed all sensors not working, after reading this forum I switched off the front sensors and rear ones worked fine. When front sensors enabled, none work. Taken it back to the dealer today, can't wait to see how they make this my fault!

Hi TSNaylor,

Did you manage to get your fault sorted?

I’m having the same issue. Turn my front sensors off in settings and the rear ones work. But then the front on and none work :?:

Is this the faulty part?

Looks like the thing people described so I removed and am am getting a new one.

Note that I broke it getting it out, should have two fixing points that are the same.

Will post back if this solves the issue.

I also have a dodgy boot cam, but that's for another day.

The part is ordered, about £25 from Nissan main dealer.

Had a similar issue with the rear buzzer not working properly. Managed to locate the part which is in the upper rear wing above the boot light. Gave Nissan the part number and came in after 3 days. Little fiddly taking out the broken buzzer as the plastic pins keeping them in place are quite snug.
Easy fix though with all the help above. Now works great! :)
