Never re-gassed. Do you think it needs to be done even though it works well in summer temperatures? The issue occurs only on the temperatures -20c to +5c.
2018 QQ - AirCon / Climate Control - Warm Air at 16'c
if you got air-con on and temp setting on LO then it won`t be blowing out hot air. set the temp to 16 then it will get warm in the car, set it to auto then it will heat up the car to the temp you have set and keep it at thatperti16 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 6:58 am Not the ideal season to solve this but anyway:
I have this same problem. When the outside temperature is below 5c, the car just wouldn't blow any cooler than HOT when the temperature is set to 16c or above. Imagine that it is just below 0c and you have very warm jacket because the car isn't preheated. Driving 5 minutes and the car isn't freezed anymore. Driving additional 5 minutes and you start to sweat as the temperature will rise well above 20c. You take the jacket off but the climate is suddenly summer and any other than tshirt is too much.
When the aircon is set to LO, the cold air starts to flow.
The aircon outputs cold air if the outside temperature is 5c or above (or something around that).
I don't remember this being an issue for the first 6 years but now it has been for the few winters.
There must be some kind of problem as there aren't any with the ALL the other brand cars.
I've set it to 16c and it will heat up the car well above 20c. The heat is unbearable even with light jacket. The air coming out of vents must be over 30c as it feels very warm/hot.
This will happen whether it is set to AUTO or manual fan speed. The auto fan speed tends to settle at level 2-3 after the selected temperature has been reached.
If it set to LO the blowed air is freezing (outside temperature). This is not an option if you plan to drive without gloves.
If you press Air Recirculation 'ON' the temp inside the car will stabilise much faster (cool air). Outside was 32C and hot outside air was mixing with cool air con which then inside the car was blowing warm air. Since I close the recirculation the air inside the car was mixing with cool air con and blow cold. I had the temp set to 16C. On LO it is blowing freezing cold so try turn recirculation on in the hot days and set your temp on 16C or more and see how quick the air inside will cool down. Same trick in a winter to warm the car inside quicker.
But you advise getting cool air on a hot day and hot air on cool day? I'm trying to get cool air on a cool day without setting to LO.czenik wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 11:59 am If you press Air Recirculation 'ON' the temp inside the car will stabilise much faster (cool air). Sorry I meant anything below 30c which it blows now when the outside temperature is around 0c.
Like what could you assume the blown air to be if the outside temperature is 0c and the set temp to be 16c and the cabin is already warm/hot?

I meant to use the air recirculation to stabilise the set temp inside the car faster. Lets say you set the temp to 16C but from the air flow you feel warm air is blowing. This happened to me and when I switched recirculation on the air flow changed to cold in about a 30 sec. It works for me but if this trick doesn't work at yours it could be faulty temp sensor??perti16 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 2:25 pmBut you advise getting cool air on a hot day and hot air on cool day? This is valid point but for a different problem.czenik wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 3:03 pm

The cold cabin gets warm in minutes which is okay. The issue is that it gets HOT after that even though the temp is set to 16c.
