Welcome to this forum.Sarahz wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2019 5:06 pm Just wanted to say a massive thank you for this post. Nissan dealer couldn't look at my car until next week. Husband bought fault reader this weekend. Fault was exhaust pressure sensor. I'd found this post last week when the error first occurred. Gear cable taken off old bike, husband covered in black splatters of WD40 soaked soot, error reset and car and wife happy again. Dread to think what Nissan would have charged. Thank you!!
What did your husband charge?

I have no direct knowledge but the diagrams on page 1 are pretty clear and you've photographed the relevant area. Just look for the exhaust manifold and the end connection surely?

....... Tbh i am probably out of my depth as i know very little about engines - but i want to give it a go if i can and save a few £££’sss if i can - at the back of the engine there is what i think maybe a heat shield or noise suppresant and it
Would help if anyone knows if its behind this
Thanks

Here's a rear view of an engine, albeit with the exhaust manifold removed - so you can see where the manifold is and compare that with the picture on page one - which suggests it's at the right hand end. I'll see if I can find another with the manifold showing

Check on this picture:
My reading of this is that where the blue pipe loops around there's a bracket with six holes in it which looks very like 15 in this image:
... and so 14 must be missing on that engine, but you can see below the bracket where it connects. Like on here:

....., I think i found the sensor - its in between the two black pipes in the picture - i did a bit of research on my engine and mine is the mk1 facelift engine - i probably should of found my engine and posted the details at the start the pipe has an orange rubber section - i have posted a picture of the same engine for sale on ebay and you can see the pipe at the back of the engine
on my car the sensor is attached to a metal bracket and is under where the two black pipes meet on the second picture
it looks very tricky to get to - does anyone know if its ok to remove the black plastic pipe that is running over the top of the sensor ?
