02 sensor

Help! Engine management light came on. 02 sensor faulty, not switching. Car running fine, under 3 month warrenty. Had two new sensors fited and both times fault didn't clear fault car started to run bad, wouldn't pick up power at 1800rpm nightmare to drive, garage said heat element faulty in it? After 5 trips to garage he is now booking it in for auto technician to look at it. Sensor was direct from nissan although he said plug was a different color and wondered if it made a difference? Any ideas? Been going on for 3 months now!

Sorry petrol 1.6 61 plate. He plugs it in canceled the fault. Took it for test drive and started playing up again. No power when pulling away at about 1800rpm, but he didn't really say why it was doing it, fed up taking down, gotta book it in for another day fortunately he can give me a courtesy car.
