Can I activate the HUD?

Hi mates,

I have a 72 plate qashqai epower, it's a lower version Acenta Premium so I don't have the build-in HUD. Can I ask the dealer to activate the HUD? Or I can just buy an aftermarket hud to install myself?

Doubt the hardware is in place to simply get it activated. No idea on aftermarket ones.
Current: '24 reg e-Power Tekna in Magnetic Blue
Previous: '65 reg 1.5 dCi n-Tech (currently being used by my daughter) /// '08 reg 2.0 dCi Tekna 4WD (sadly deceased)
