Hi guys, looking for a little advice.
I have a 2017 Tekna (J11B model I believe) and I'm having an issue with the Climate Control System. Whether I have the Air Con on or Off or put the system into Manual or Auto, the unit displays that the fan should be on at a speed between 1 for slow and 5 for fast/full, however physcially the fan never runs more than slow. Putting the system into "Manual" and setting a speed manually, say full speed, has no effect.
What makes it more strange is when I first start the engine, the fan will start at full speed to reach the desired temperature, say 16'C or Low in the summer, however within a minute of starting to drive, then fan ramps down to slow speed again. This is despite the display in the centre console indicating the fan should be on full speed. So physically the fan can run at full speed, but for some reason when driving it decides to always run at the slow speed, ignore what the control system/display is commanding?
Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any advice of what to check?
Thanks

Welcome to this forum.
I had a similar issue on my Fabia and it was the heater resistor that needed changing. Try a search on this forum for that, but I can't guarantee that's the particular issue on a Qashqai.
