2019 K9K Engine Oil Filter Location

Sounds odd but before I get on my back can anyone tell me where the oil filter is located please, some videos show it on the front under the alternator but mines not there so is it on the back of the engine or next to the sump in the plastic housing?.

Is your filter the metal type or paper insert ?

Hi, no idea, I've never been under this one, when I got it I had 2 years free servicing. This is why I was asking thanks.

Ok go onto euro car parts or halfords site pop the car reg in and see what oil filter it shows you it will give you an idea of what to look for .

Awesome thanks, it must be at the back of the engine, had a torch on the front and couldn't see anything, I did ponder Nissan doing it but they want £269 for oil change and pollen filter, nearly choked on my biscuit.

Cheaper to do it yourself if you got the tools. Most metal type filters are underneath u'll see it when you get under car. Pollen and air filters around £10 each. 5ltr oil £30
Take a look at the 2 vids below around 9mis on 1st vid will show you filter lication (they make it look harder than it us )

Hi All,
So this morning I picked up the filter from my car from Wigan Nissan, for anyone that needs the part number its 1520900Q0J and its a paper filter, filter and sump washer £22.97 , next time its a Mahle filter £8.95 Opie - 10% discount. Anyway it seems the filter is on the back of the engine.
While I was thee I queried a price for a cam belt change due in March, wait for it.... plum sucking, deep thought....£600-£700 no alternator belt, labour intensive he says, I nearly shit, phoned Chorley Nissan, with a alternator belt as well as belt tensioner and water pump...£550 fixed price the lady said so Wigan should have been the same.
Chorley it is.

Mark65, I hope I’m not "teaching grandma to suck eggs" here but make sure you factor in a water pump change whilst they do the belt and when the engine is in many pieces.
I suspect you will have factored that in, but just in case……
