Wireless charging pad

Hi everyone.
Quick question about wireless charging.
I have a E-power Tekna purchased December 2022.

When I place my phone (Samsung Note 10+) on the pad the orange light illuminates and phone shows "wireless charging /battery % and time".

Its the same with my wife's phone (Samsung Galaxy S20FE).

Battery on 40% and shows charging time of 2 hours and 39 minutes until full.

The pad is a Fast (15W) wireless charger, so why does it take so long.

At no point have I ever seen the phone showing fast wireless charging on my phone or my wife's phone when placed on the charging pad.

Has anyone seen their phone showing fast wireless charging whilst on the charging pad.

Both phone have fast and wireless charging turned on in the settings, if I turn fast charging off in the settings the charging time is still the same as when turned on.

I want to know if I have a faulty pad.

Note 10 + supports fast Qi/PMA wireless charging at 15W

I also have a qashqai N-connecta bought on December 20, 2023 and I have the same symptoms.
The charge is like 1% per 30 minutes warming up then often it cuts out and reconnects.
Even without a phone cover it's the same.
Samsung S21Fe S23 is the same .

I don't have a wireless charger at home, but I have seen videos on youtube of a 15w fast wireless charger, and when the phone is placed on the charger is shows "fast wireless charging" on the screen. So if the wireless pad on the Qashqai is a fast 15w charger it should do the same.
I definitely think their is a fault and only charging as standard.

In the context of the picture - what does QI mean ?
And the natural follow up - is your phone a certified device ?

Must try mine and see if the phone screen has a relevant information.
The pad charges my iPhone but certainly not a fast charger

Tried my S23 Ultra to see what comes up, phone just says wireless charging & time to reach full charge.
It was on pad for 6minutes & went up 2% while driving, not impressive but better than an hour for 2%!

My phone a Samsung note 10+ is Qi and PMA compatible.

Qi and PMA = They're both based on inductive charging, which uses an electromagnetic field to transfer energy between two objects.

Older phones do not have this technology. So wireless charging will not work.
