So I’m having a bizarre issue with my central locking that started yesterday (J11, 2014, DCI Acenta Smartvision)
Our drive is sloped, and due to our street being so narrow we always reverse onto the drive (car nose pointing up the slope), well yesterday the central locking locked all doors EXCEPT the drivers door.
When the car is parked on the flat of the street the central locking works fine on all doors.
When the car is parked on the drive front first (car nose pointing down the slope) the central locking works fine on all doors.
It’s almost like gravity is causing something to not work when the car is nose up? My dad thinks it could be water in the lock due to all the rain recently, which I guess is feasible but I’m completely baffled. Anyone had anything this strange with their central locking?
