J11 driveshaft

Hi everyone.
My wife has a nissan qashqai 2014 j11 ,it started wobbling/vibrating on acceleration. The garage has diagnosed the passenger side driveshaft to be at fault and has said it can only come from nissan at the cost of £1000 . Is this correct, i used to do the mechanics myself but no more and this seems extortionate.

Always the option if a 2nd hand one from scrapyard etc just depends on how much it will be to fit it. Have you had the tracking and wheel balanced checked to see if there ok

Hi Andy , had everything else checked, its definitely the driveshaft . I can find many car spares shops selling quashqai driveshafts but not this model ,a couple of garages have said nissan only .
