Passenger door not opening from inside

Hello everyone. My 2019 qashqai has a problem opening the passenger door from inside, it will work ok for a few days then not work for a few days, tried locking / unlocking several times, it cant be child lock, its not been touched and ive seen a picture of what looks like the operating lever and this is not present on mine, when its not working the inner door handle feels useless, when its ok the handle has some resistance as it should, Im about to remove the inner door panel and investigate but any advise or ideas would be really useful, thanks
