Hi, I have been getting the following advisory on my Nissan QQ 2011 Petrol since 2020;

Front Inner Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement o\s and n\s (5.3.4 (a) (i))

I did replace them in 2018.

Car MOT is due in 4 weeks and i will ask my mechanic to replace the front suspension arms if there is a excessive movement.

Can someone please advise me on the OEM brand for suspension arms? I have been told that Nissan QQ has this common problem so its better to go for a good brand otherwise i will end up replacing it again in few years time.

I don't drive much and work from home.

Febi or blue print is a good brand to go for. Don't forget to get the tracking done once you have had the new arms fitted

Thanks Andy. What is tracking?

I have a mobile care mechanic who is going to fit the new suspension arms. Do you think he will be able to get the tracking done?

No, you will need to take the car to a specialist tyre shop who will have the equipment to check tracking as well as castor and camber angles. Costs are about £50 or less for the full steering geometry check, well worth it as it will save £'s on tyres.
Past cars Mercedes B Class, S Class, E Class Estate, E Class Coupe, G Wagen, 260E interspersed with Peugeot 406 and Audi Coupe.
