Which car ?
Which model ?
What was the problem ?
Not surprised that a local garage couldn’t diagnose a problem if it’s a recent car - complex electronics.
Probably diagnoseable using Nissan’s dealer only diagnostic tools and fault code readers
At least the garage was honest

If you're moaning about being charged £40 for 4 hours of mechanic time, even though they couldn't fix it, I reckon you got away very likely. Go to a dealer and try the same thing.

Yeah it depends if they charge by the hour, they still have to look and diagnose your vehicle, I got charged 80 pound for the same thing with my car, but they couldn't fix it, but I guess London rates are double, so consider yourself lucky lol
