J11a to J11b driving experience?

Hi all, so I recently went from a 2016 j11a Tekna 1.5 diesel to a 2019 J11b 1.5 diesel.

Initially when I started driving the newer car, I felt like I had to press the accelerator alot lower than my previous car. Once I'm driving it's fine, but from stationary it can sometimes feel a little slower than my previous model.

Not sure if I'm overthinking it, but going to get my mate to test drive it to get his opinion. Maybe I just needed to get used to the difference.

Has anyone going from j11a to J11b noticed anything similar to this in their driving experience?

engines are pretty much the same - although there could be some influence from engine management to meet stricter emissions.

I don't have the data to hand I'm afraid.

The proof will be your consumption figures I guess
