Autodoc are not that bad. i think they use figures related to the bolt itself. They may well work ok I think at the lower torque. I did think some of the Nissan figures to be higher than normal for other cars.
There have been a few minor mistakes by them though

ImageManaged to get hold of the ' correct ' parts from Nissan, however after shelling out over £12 on a nut and bolt, they were unable to tell me the proper torque for said items. "As tight as you can" was the official response.
Managed to get a sneaky peek at a Haynes manual in Halfords and the proper torque values, I presume. (Pic attached)

Got home and looking at the bolt it says '10' on the head not '10.9' as on the original bolt on the other side of the car. Still better than the 8.8 bolt fitted by the garage last time, but I was expecting to get original spec stuff, as it was ordered at great cost and the inconvenience of travelling 30 miles to get it ( they wouldnt post it).
The part numbers seem to be all over the place too. Depending on where you look, using the part numbers on the Nissan packaging, it's described as a 'camber bolt', which it certainly isn't.

Seems that '10' is the metric size, not the tensile strength so I have no confidence that Nissan have even supplied the correct part. Another phone call then.......

If you are looking to replace the pinch bolt that is on the lower arm to spindle carrier. The one to torque to 87Nm, then IIRC it should come with a nyloc washer nut.. I guess you can put some thread lock on the nut and bolt you have purchased.

There is no nyloc on this nut. They look like the same thing you might buy on ebay for £2.
Irritating because I was keen to make sure I had the proper Nissan spec fixings, but I may as well stuck with what it has already, saving time, hassle and money.

I have loads of nyloc nuts as a set from LIDL middle isle. Think it was £5 for an assorted pack of over 100 nuts and washers.

Ah, not sure that I would use a Lidl nut in this situation.

A bolt is a bolt too....except its not. Nissan don't make nuts or bolts, but the ones they use are made to deal with certain stress applications.
