Hi all,

I am in the process of hardwiring my dash cam in but unsure what permanent live to use - what are you all using?

I used the HUD for mine
2022 J12 1.3 DiG-T Xtronic Tekna+ - Blade Silver

I can't remember which one I have used but it was one of the spare ones. It's easy to check if you get yourself a multimeter. Open your car, check voltage with ignition off- if 0 turn ignition on- if above 12 volts that's the one😉

I've used the Hazzard Lights for permanent live and USB for switched live.

Can you write which fuse is responsible for the hazard lights in the fuse box in the J12 model? I am looking for constant voltage to connect a dash cam.

Hi,

I need help with this too. Currently Dashcam comes in with ignition but i want to live wire it with parking aid on.

Got car keyed on new years day and now some one hit wing mirror.

Please advise.

Just did an install of RedTiger dash cam. For the switched supply I used the "POWER SOCKET" fuse. I got the permanent supply from the fuse marked "ELEC B" above (although it was marked differently on my diagram.
Current: '24 reg e-Power Tekna in Magnetic Blue
Previous: '65 reg 1.5 dCi n-Tech (currently being used by my daughter) /// '08 reg 2.0 dCi Tekna 4WD (sadly deceased)
