Hello everybody. Im in desperate need of help. My 2010 qashqai+2 1.5 diesel is struggling. There is a big power loss as if the turbo isn’t kicking in. It hesitates, holds back and pumps a 
load of smoke out the back. I replaced the mass air flow meter thinking it was that and it is still the same. It starts first time every time. There is no bad idle nor does it cut out. Symptoms of a failed/failing Turbo are generally these:
Loss of power
Slower, louder acceleration
Difficulty maintaining high speeds
Blue/grey smoke coming from the exhaust
Engine dashboard light is showing.
You seem to experience some of these. Its difficult to diagnose at distance...sorry
