I thought by the problems stated the head or block had warped. If it is just a standard head gasket change then almost any garage would do it.

That's positive news. If it wasn't overheating it is much less likely the head has warped.
As others have suggested, go somewhere with a good reputation, this isn't a job to try and save a few quid.

Yeah mate. Never seen temperature guage go beyond the middle point. Just top up coolant. Any recommendations for garage?

It may not be the head gasket, have you checked the exhaust for water or the dip stick for water in the oil? If the head gasket is gone that really is the only two places for the water to go. You may just have a leak.

I had it booked in at the garage and they did diagnostic and confirmed no leak and it is the head gasket snd they ditched me last minute that we can not do your work until mid of September. Now I have it booked at another garage on 5th of September for repair.

Oil pump caused head gasket to fail and turbo.

Well that's not going to be cheap!
