Cruise Control

Hi,
I have 2014 qashqai. The cruise control is not working and is bringing up the engine light when I try to engage it? Anyone have any ideas of what the problem may be? Thank

Failure of CC to engage is symptomatic of an engine control fault. Hence the engine fault lamp you see. It'll need an examination of any error codes (DTCs) to identify more specifically.
Can we assume this is a diesel engine?

Welcome to this forum.
The "clock spring" connecting the steering wheel's electrics to the car seems to be a weak link often, but the fact your engine light's coming on suggests diagnosis required.

Hi Did you get anywhere with your cruise control problem? I have the same thing except the stop start has stopped along with it. Amber dash warning. I've got it booked in with Nissan on Wednesday to find the issue. Cheers
