New poster.
I’ve got a 2016 1.5 diesel Qashqai 60k miles
Last week it popped up on the dash start/stop error
Next morning it failed to start or if it did it would fire up and a millisecond then cut out again, pressing the button to start it was constantly trying to start but to no avail.
Managed to get it recovered to a local garage
Fault codes checked
Replaced Crank Sensor
replaced camshaft sensor (I think)
Tried a new battery
Had injectors off and checked
Still not starting
I had timing belt, alternator belt water pump etc done at 5 years/50k miles last year
Lost what it could be - garage have had it a week now and still no further on what it could be.
Any thoughts?

No codes now?, A very simple test to see if it's fuel delivery or similar issue is to spray some brake clean into the air intake pipe, if it runs briefly then you know the issue is either fuel delivery(fuel pump) or perhaps sucking air or similar.
Please understand that this is a quick and dirty test and not something you should do many many times in a row. It's purely something to help you with a quick and dirty diagnosis, if you're garage are just throwing parts at it without diagnosing then you need to change your garage , you want somewhere with a good logical diagnostic process.
So many places now just look at codes and assume, codes are there as a guide in a diagnostic process.
You haven't given many details but that would be a starting point for me if you have no codes present to establish if the vehicle is able to actually start.
