J11b: Waze & radio volume issue

Hi all!

For those of you who also have the New Connect and use Waze, maybe you have this problem too?

It happens to me regularly, 1 in 5 times or so, that when I am navigating with Waze after a few minutes the radio volume suddenly drops a bit and then only the navigation volume (number with the arrow symbol in the top left corner) can be adjusted. The volume of the radio (number with a musical note in the top left-hand corner) can no longer be adjusted.

The only solution is to switch to Apple music or to reboot the unit completely. After that, it works perfectly again.

Known phenomenon? And more importantly, is there a fix for it?

Sorry, can’t help.
I didn’t suffer this with my J11B but nor did I use Waze very often (don’t like the interface) - usually only as a gimmick, preferring the Nissan Sat Nav or Google

J11b owner, Waze user with Android Auto... never had that issue.

Hi I have Nissan Qashqai N-Connecta 2019 ( 11 facelift)
I use Apple iPhone 11 with iOS 17.0.3
I have the following issues:
1. If there is a MS Teams call with screen sharing /video and I got called in the whole head unit instantly restarts if the phone is connected with Apple Car Play (cable)
2. When using Waze Volume gets locked into " navigation volume " adjustment, Car play music ( Youtube music) FM Radio or CD Volume can not be adjusted anymore. Only stopping car and restarting Head unit solves the issue. If I find any solution ill post it.
