Mine does this too.
Has anyone got it sorted yet?
When mine goes in for service I will definitely mention it. It drives my wife mad and now drive with stop start switched off.

It happened to me also in my J12. And if I wasn't already covering the break pedal, I would've hit someone.
Clearly this is ECU programming. The car thinks it should start, but in reality it should stay stopped. Thankfully they should be able to fix it with a firmware upgrade.
The workaround is to disable start/stop each time the car starts.

Mine is booked in for the 27th to see if there has been an update to fix the issue.
I thought the service manager would have been able to have found that out from Nissan without the need of having my car for the afternoon.... But no.
He said he wasn't aware of the problem which I find hard to believe.
Regardless, I will report back.

It works as it is described ...at least mine. I saw it working differently on Volvo xc40.
Whenever you decrease deceleration gradient before stopping ECU things that you want to accelerate actually.
So now I do not change pressure on brake pedal and it works pretty fine.

I am pleased to report a trip to the dealership for an update has resolved this stop/start surge issue.
I had it done a while ago but I wanted to test the system in all conditions before I posted.
The service manager was very coy about the details of the update.
Please note my car is the xtronic cvt gearbox so I can't say if this is a fix for MT cars.

Yes it has fixed the problem. I have driven the car for about 100 miles since the update and it is now working as it should.
Again, this is for the xtronic version. Hopefully there is one for manuals too.

I'm on CVT as well, couldn't that update be seen on the infotainment screen when you list software version?
This is mine for example.
Or this us only infotainment software that has nothing to do with the ecu version?
