Asked to pay £600 extra for a £1,145 colour option.

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone had a similar issue recently/in the past. I've ordered a new Qashqai via a Military and Diplomatic provider who use a well known Nissan dealership.

Apparently Nissan came back to them at the point when they put my order in stating that I'll be required to pay £600 on top of the £1,145 'Two Tone Storm White and Pearl Black Roof' colour option (total of £1,1745), something to do with the cost involved with applying that colour scheme.

I've contacted Nissan and the Customer Service who promised to investigate further. Has anyone had a similar issue? That specific colour scheme is still advertised at the same price in the online configurator.

That's not a listed co lour combination with Storm White that I can see? Its Pearl White with a Pearl Black roof that's listed, maybe that's why.

Here are the available colours - Pearl White isn't an available colour in the UK:

However Nissan being Nissan have difference colour names in other countries and "Storm White" is "White Pearl" in Italian! Same colour code though:

How odd! My order form and Nissan Finance paperwork both say Pearl White/ Pearl Black roof. Colour code on the drivers door sticker says trim XDF B which seems to be Storm White according to the UK colours you've attached. Either way its pearlescent, I like it and only paid £1145 for it. p.s. I'm not Italian either, it was delivered in Jan!

Here in Greece I paid €550 for two tones color (ceramic grey with black roof) on a J12 techna plus awd and it delivered to me in December.

I'm in the UK and have a Perl White/Perl Black combo (absolutely love how it looks). I ordered late December and picked up first week in April, they didn't ask me to pay any extra over the £1,145 listed cost.
