Connect manual not showing my type

I recently purchased a 2018 Qashqai, and on reviewing the manuals, they all seem to picture the 2019 style Connect display (i.e. with the audio button bottom left), rather than the 2018 style one (see below). Just wondering if this was the same for everyone else, or if I've been provided with the wrong manuals?

I'm not 100% certain but that looks a lot like the Connect system I had in my 2017 Qashqai.
Hopefully you can get confirmation from someone who still has a radio like this and get hold of a manual (pdf or paper)

Welcome to this forum.

When the new radio was announced people found they were still getting the old one. This carried on for about six months until the new one was established on all cars.

2017 manual attached.

EDIT - checking that appears to be an American one despite it referring to Qashqai not Rogue Sport - perhaps for use in Canada?

The problem I have is that the 2014 UK manual simply says:

For details [or the NissanConnect system], see the separately provided NissanConnect Owner’s Manual.

FURTHER EDIT - now found a 2015 Connect brochure which will be relevant - no changes 2014-2018:

My 2017 (67 Plate) "Owners Manual" is Printed in France (May 2017 (01)), There are some differences I can see at a glance but in detail.....dunno?

The above manual also references a separate 10 chapter "Owners Manual" for Nissan Connect. Also a separate smaller colour booklet for same

Ah nice thanks @gloucester for those manuals - I had a look around myself but couldn't find them.

Do you know if it's possible for a dealership to upgrade a car to the later headunit?

From memory, that looks like the system I had in my 2015 qashqai.

Highly unlikely and very costly, even for a replacement unit the same.

The usual route is an aftermarket android - see other postings for extensive details.
