Hi there,

I ordered my Tekna back in Feb, and one of the things that I went back and forth on was whether or not to pay the extra for the upgraded sound system.

I like my music, but ultimately decided not to pay the extra - I keep revisiting this decision! My question is, is the standard system good, is the upgraded system worth it, how difficult would it be to updgrade post-delivery?

My standard system seems good to me.

Key question though is age. Hearing starts dropping off from your 20s and certainly declines off from the 50s a bit faster.

So if you're 19 good chance you can tell the difference between the system. The older you are the more the hearing range reduces especially at high frequencies so doubt it would be worth it.

Your money...your choice.

I thought the Tekna came with the Bose system, my Tekna+ has it as did my 2019 Tekna.
I don’t recognise any particular improvement and would have deleted it from the car, given the chance.
