I have a 6 MT Tekna+.
I hear some of those noises too.
However, until now, I thought this to be 'normal' because the QQ is :
- Mild-Hybrid (battery assist kicking in)
- Nissan gearboxes may, IMHO, be far from the best.
Unlike other manual gearboxes I experienced in quite a number of other Japanese car models.
The MT6 gears are indeed 'loose' and 'too long' yet I also thought the reported noises were normal to happen with this ... Nissan gearbox.
Strange thing is that it proves to be a Renault part / gearbox (???) and this tells me more : Renault (in my country anyway) has a bad reputation !
Worse than Nissan.
I hope we get a solution, at least some word and whether this could be dangerous or is just an unfamiliar sound we can live with !?

I have the same issue in 6th gear at between 70 and 80 mph when I feather the throttle there is a definite whining. It sounds like a gearbox bearing noise. My car is 6 weeks old with 500 miles. I going to see how it develops in the next few months.

.
Descriptions of noises heard are very variable.
You have probably read this thread but, just in case, any similarities ?

Hello
Did anyone get to the bottom of this 'Whine'?
I have a 71 plate J12 N-Connecta (1000 miles) that has a whine most noticeable in 4th gear when feathering the accelerator. The sound is also accompanied by a 'rotational' type noise. It usually takes 10/12 miles of driving before you can hear it and it only seems to happen in 4th gear around 30/35 mph. If I accelerate or take my foot off the noise goes away.
Any help would be appreciated
Paul
