Hello everyone, first post on the forums.

I bought a Qashqai 1.2 DIGT 2015, and noticed every-time I come off the accelerator there is a single tap in the engine bay, I took it back to the garage and they said they went to Nissan and they were told this is just a noise the car makes?

Has anyone else experienced this? It is pretty annoying as it happens every time you use the pedal without fail, it is much easier to hear when idling.

Welcome to this forum.

Not sure what a "tap" would sound like and what it might be. Have you actually taken a mechanic out in the car?

Hi
Mine does this too.
I don't think it's anything to worry about though.

Thanks for letting me know, I also heard another Nissan doing it in a carpark, must just be what they do!
