Nissan QashQai Forums

Hi all, new to the forum, only just registered this morning, but been following posts for nearly 2yrs now. Got a 2019 n-connecta, waiting for arrival of my new tekna auto in magnetic blue can't wait, hopefully 29th April.

I been here in the past but I see now that the forum has changed. So, newbie or not, but not newbie in Nissan. I have a Qashqai 2009 J10D for the last 13 years (136.000 km), very satisfied with him. I must change now because I has an accident and the repair is too expensive. I ordered few days ago the new Qasqai MY21 1.3 l 156 CP magnetic blue, Accenta. I hope that it come in August.

Hi i have just bought a nissan qashqai 1.5 tekna 66 reg i have have got a symbol on my dash of 2 cars crashing head on i have found what is is but i cant get into my driving aids in the settings it isnt high lighted to turn the forward colision on can anyone help please sorry for being so long winded. Bob

Welcome to the forum

The symbol is showing you have a fault.
Clean the camera in the windscreen and give the sensors on the front bumper a thorough but gentle wash.
Note - this symbol often pops up in torrential rain, sleet and snow and indicates that the sensors are obscured.

If that doesn’t help, you might need to visit your local dealer.

Unless someone else has a better idea w.r.t. the technology.

... then the symbols at the top are showing that the relevant systems are turned on.

Perhaps you could explain better or provide a photo?

I’m assuming that it is this symbol, this is a screenshot from the Nissan Owners App.

Remember you have a J12 and the query's about a J11

However I see I think what you mean - here's the relevant manual page:

When the forward emergency braking system is
turned off, the forward emergency braking system
warning light (orange) will illuminate.
