System faults. What's going on ?

Hi

I've attached photos of the messages and illuminated warning lights on the dash of my 2018 Qashqui N-Connecta. I took it to a local garage for a £42 diagnostic check, where they cleared 15 minor things from the memory. I hoped it would have cleared these messages I've been getting since Monday morning, but no. The rear right tyre pressure sensor seems to be working intermittently, as I drove home yesterday with all four showing pressure reading and therefore none of the other faults and warnings appeared. Is this the problem that is creating these system faults ? The garage I went to was telling me it had nothing to do with it, which I don't believe because why would these faults only appear when the tyre pressure isn't reading?

Any help would be appreciated before I have to get hit with £108 at the Nissan dealer for ANOTHER diagnostic check.

Welcome to this forum.

Did you take details of the 15 faults found?

Have you had a battery health check?

Might be worth stating which engine you have too.

Fix the tyre pressure sensor first. Thats an MOT failure along with the ABS error. It might clear the Forward Emergency Braking (FEB) + ABS warning in the Speedo.

I have a 1.5 diesel engine. I have a print out of the faults that were cleared, so I'll post them when get it out of the car.

I've several friends who have had QQ's with stop/start faults. All of them have been down to the crappy battery they ship with. Swap out for a varta or other branded battery and the problem goes away. This can also cause a raft of other random spurious ECU codes as the computer doesn't seem to like power spikes.

By no means a guaranteed fix, I'm just sharing what I've seen elsewhere. And good luck.

See my recent update re multiple system warnings all at once. I had a broken wire causing this type of issue right near the OSR wheel. Start/Stop was just one of many things listed as having failed.

I have the same issue, the rear side right ABS harness has been damaged (I believe animals bite through them). I’ve looked tonight and the harness from the vehicle has been bite through that goes into the ABS connector. Would anyone know what harness code this is please (as in part number needed). The ABS lead is ok. Thank you!

Welcome to this forum.

Dealer? I assume you don't want to pay dealer prices but you might get a number out of them?

I suppose you can't simply mend it?

Thanks for the note, sadly I think it’s beyond repair. I’d like to just replace it but need to know the code for the harness.

I may need to ask the dealer for the code then. Thank you 😊

My qq2016 1.5dci is doing this exact thing… was told the exhaust pressure sensor pipe was blocked… it was.. had this changed still doing it and also juddering /feeling like it’s going to stall intermittently when driving. Had the battery change, no change, had a new fuel filter .. and no change!!!
It’s not showing any fault codes atall but this evening me and my mechanic took it out while he had it plugged into a diagnostic machine and the car was showing a fault for crank shaft position sensor every time the car juddered as soon as it stopped It was gone..
Let me know if you find the issue with yours !… I’ve wasted a lot of money already so not keen on changing the sensor unless it’s more or less a guarantee fix
