Halfords fitted a Nextbase 422GW to mine in January with no issues. Wired into fusebox.

If you dont mind me asking how did you go about installing the rear cam. Ive some excess cable left. Which trim did you use to hide it?

I installed my Thinkware Q800 pro.

I ran my cable on the right hand side of the door weather seal and trim.

all the excess wire I hid in the boot trim.

I did not take pictures of the whole installation, but here are a few pictures that shows the installation.

I used RODI tubing from my fish tank which is flexible and allowed to feed the wire through.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

How did you manage to route the cable on the inside on the boot. I tried to remove the parcel shelf trims but they were extremely tight fit and i left it at that. Was scared to break any clips etc.

Thanks

Hi,

I did not take any trim out on the inside. I ran the wire on right hand side all the way to the boot rubber weather strip, I tucked the wire into the plastic trim to hide it.
When I got to the rubber weather strip I carefully prised the roof liner down a bit and then I took the rubber gromit off that hides the tubing for the rear washer. I then used a flexible tubing to feed it from inside of the car where the roof lining is and pushing it upwards. (imagine a square, from the bottom left of the square to the top right of the square.) in that angle and the red tubing I used came out near the opening where the rubber gromit was.
I then taped the wire to the tubing and pulled it through, all nicely tucked away out of sight.
