Hi, I have a J11 2016 Qashqai, this winter it has been very noticeable that the car struggles to start in cold weather, it just seems to try and fire up for quite a number of seconds before finally starting, it does just seem to be in the cold that this happens, just looking for ideas on the possible cause before I take it in to be checked over, bearing in my mind I don't have much idea about cars... if this is bot vague please let me know what further details I could give.
Many thanks.
Struggling to start

Welcome to this forum.
I probably won't be able to help technically but I suggest you state whether your car is petrol or diesel.
Is it on the original battery do you know - they typically need changing every three or four years on a Qashqai, especially if it has stop/start.

Battery issue?
An older battery and cold weather usually cause starting issues. I would start with the battery, have you a friendly local garage/mechanic to do a test?

Yep, sorry it's Diesel, I suspect the original battery so it may point to that. Thanks

I've had same issue, still have,2013 dci acenta, really struggling at moment to start first thing in the morning, then fine all day, costing me a fortune, been in garage around 5 times in last 6 weeks, had new glow plugs, then they said common fuel rail, that was over £500,still the same, been in 3 days this week, changed some washers on the injectors, still really bad, only thing now they will try is see if there is a tiny hole, crack in pipes somewhere, anyone on here got advice or situations, wish I never bought it.
