Similar problem last two winters. Really struggled to start, but did eventually start. Not battery issue as new 2 years ago. Once the engine had started I did not have a similar problem starting for the rest of the day. Following a cold night, next morning struggled to start again. Visited Grantham Nissan. Glow plugs changed. This appears to have solve the problem. Now starts first time again.

No did not get battery checked although the car been in and out of the garage, they say running out of ideas,I would imagine they checked it plus battery seems to have plenty in it has sometimes I have to start the car 3 or 4 times before it runs.all this happens only when it's cold outside, when temperature is mild it starts fine, was considering buy a full car cover to see if that helps.

Mine has same problem here, 2015 1.6 diesel, problem happened from last winter, new battery is just around 1.5 year old.
Struggle to start every cold winter morning, it may takes 2nd or 3rd time to start. Then it will be fine for the whole day.

I am.having the same problem on my 1.5dci I have changed fuel filter and glow plugs and no different.
Next I'm changing the glow plug relay to see if that works
Had the garage plug in reader but no fault codes
