You'll be the first one on here with one then! No one else has ordered.

Can I ask which dealer did you go with and what colour did you order? My closest dealer is quoting end of Dec if I place an order now. Carwow dealers are also quoting end of Nov-Dec time too.

Glyn Hopkin. Burgundy. I am told that my order managed to squeeze in as is part of the demos production. Build date is Sept 9th. Delivery Sept 23. Had I not ordered then it would have been much later. I have also been told that production has been delayed due to a shortage of steering rack parts that normally come out of Ukraine.

Nissan have just announced on Facebook that the XTrail's getting e-Power too:

That video was already reported here.
There is truth in what he claims, probably even most of it is accurate.
But IMHO the Nissan e-power concept is to deliver a smooth EV ride without plugin related issues.
Of course there will inevitably be quite some drawbacks to this complex implementation,
but maybe, and I hope so, the advantages will be far more important.
OK, we won't get +80 MPG, we wont get 0-60 in 3 seconds, but that was always to be expected.
Miracles sometimes take a bit longer AFAIK !

Have we seen this?

You certainly don't hear the engine kicking in.

Thanks gloucester.
My guess... Future Nissan European models will all be either e-power or EV.
It's still a gamble, but I personally think it's a wise decision!
