I’ve got a 62 plate Qashqai (mk1?), which has developed a sharp point on the passenger seat, right in the middle of the cushion. It isn’t obvious until there’s downward pressure, but is sharp enough to catch on the trousers of whoever sits there, causing me no end of grief when another pair of my wife’s jeans develop a tear!
Any ideas what to do? Is the original seat cover able to be removed, or will I have to try and get to it through the bottom of the seat? The fabric has developed a tiny hole exactly where the point is, but it isn’t big enough to use, and I don’t particularly want to tear the cover if I can possibly avoid it.
TIA
Gary

I suspect you're simply going to have to discover the solution yourself.

If you remove the seat - then the method of seat covering should present itself.
Remember to disconnect the battery because of the seat belt tensioners
