Hi, I am considering the new Qashqai as a possibility to replace my current Volvo XC40. I've never had a Nissan before so I'd like to look at the manual to check how various things work and that I'd be happy with them.
However I can't seem to find one online at all. Does anyone know where I can access one?
Online manual? (and comparing to XC40)

Are you happy? How do you find the comfort compares? (seat/ride/cabin noise etc)?
Volvo have really messed up the options now so you have to go for the £42K+ Ultimate spec for even mid-range stuff like adaptive headlights and adaptive cruise.

Yes and at the time I was looking the XC40 was missing key technologies like BLIS, 360 cameras due to chip shortage.
I test drove the QQ twice. Once was an extended test drive. I felt confident after that to order one.
In the intervening months while I was waiting for it to be built I kept wondering if I was doing the right thing as I loved the XC40 R Design. However, come collection day the day of reckoning was here
I loved it. Got all the bells and whistles, more than the XC40. Extremely quiet and great acceleration.
Negatives for me
You can't have the map showing on the driver's display unless you have a route set.
The Nissan app isn't as comprehensive as Volvo on call. For example you can't select a place on the map and send it to the car....you have to use google to try and get close. You can't start it while you stay indoors.
It doesn't have the stick to the corner driving feeling that the XC40RD had
It doesn't brake the car to keep you at the speed you've set on the limiter
The auto handbrake has a different configuration and there are occasions when it won't auto apply when you switch the engine off (like if you weren't wearing a seat belt)
Likes
All the tech and the high spec generally
Heated seats
Seats are more comfortable under the thighs than the Volvo
The price...so much cheaper than XC40
Lower car tax
The mild hybrid gives you a real kick up the rear when you pull away/ out your foot down
Smooth ride over bumps with 19" wheels. Similar to XC40 on 18"
The 360 camera is superior to XC40
It is British built keeping British folks in jobs
It's not owned by a Chinese company
The super headlights and the auto mainbeam where it turns off particular LEDs when cars approach etc so as not to dazzle
Great in the snow/ice with all season tyres fitted
The auto brake hold function when set means you don't have to hold your foot on the brake
Others
Haven't used the semi auto driving stuff yet.
So very happy, don't regret the change. It is less sporty ride than XC40 RD (which had a firmer suspension than other XC40). But it has all the safety tech of the volvo..perhaps more given Volvo's cutbacks. You can get a sportier drive by putting it in sports mode though

Wow thanks for the comprehensive reply, you've convinced me to put this at the top of my list. I can learn to live with those negatives and the positive points you've listed are all things I've been thinking about. I've a while to go yet on my current lease but will look forward to testing driving the Qashqai.
