Lets see how Tesla gets out of this situation. Should be fairly easy where the vehicle handbook warns you not to drive while asleep and so on. Or you click the screen to agree?
It would be interesting to see Teslas Risk Assessment as regards the Autopilot function. Not a chance really is there.

If you're in the driver's seat of a vehicle, you are legally responsible for being in charge and in control of that vehicle - at least in the UK.
And, as stated above, there are always multiple warnings that these AI systems are there to "assist" the driver and do not replace the need for due care and attention.
