Hi, my QQ has developed an issue where it has no power, and my cruise control no longer activates. I have 2 error codes which are p1453 and p0380, can anyone suggest what the issue may be.

Also my Nav unit has started to randomly restart and the sound cuts of every couple of minutes.

Cheers,
Al

I'm no expert but your error code (P1453) and the faulty cruise control might be related to your exhaust gas door, you might want to check it.

As for P0380: I do have the same error every couple of day/week depending on my trips, still don't know what it's causing it.

I have cleaned the egr valve as it was full of carbon, which has made no difference, the car is really sluggish and struggles to get over 70. I mainly do motorway miles 80 each way so don't think it's the dpf, the turbo pressure sensor pipes are good, so I'm at a loss.

You're rather confusing the issue by posting different statements on this and another topic - memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=13483

I fail to see how it's confusing

Because you're posting different statement in different places - what's NOT to confuse?

P1453 is a fault with the differential pressure sensor, commonly the pre dpf rubber hose to metal pipe split as this is the one thats gets the worst of it. Sometimes its hard to tell if it is split as sometimes it splits on its opposite side so you cant see the split, in in the trade so I have access to a borescope camera which I use to determine if they are split or not. Not so easy for the owners.... but if the pipes are good then it could be the sensor defective or the dpf itself which is rare considering I see this fault code alot as I mainly work on nissans, in actual fact I havent replaced a dpf for this fault yet and I've replaced 1 sensor but was due to melting and ive replaced over 60 hoses if I had to think of a number, unless your quite good under the hood I wouldn't attempt replacing yourself

Hi Lewisbryant, thanks for the response, the hoses are intact, so I'm thinking it may be the sensor itself, what are your thoughts?

I'm sorry I seem to be confusing you with my intel gathering on the fault with my car, I was hoping to get responses from people who may be able to help but alas I get you.

Hi Alan,

I wondered if you get a fix for your issue?

I'm having the same issues (error codes P1453 and P0380) with a lack of power accelerating and not getting above 60pm in 6th gear (unless going down a hill).

Had it serviced in June 2022 and Nissan checked it at the time and recharged the battery (which was only 18 months old) to full and that seemed to fix it at the time but issue is back a couple of months later.

Any thoughts or ideas are much appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark
