Hiya all got my new car today its great but its got a problem it is going back to dealership on monday to be sorted which is good but just wanted to see what any of you guys or girls had to say when going into reverse i got a very high squeal noise when going backwards from the drivers side with out applying any brakes but when going backwards on a lock the noise does not happen only when going in a straight line the squeal does not happen when going forwards also you can hear the same noise when you get in and out the car thanks shaun.

Sounds like brake pads - Could be lack of use

they may have rusted a little if been sat around too long in the rain etc and car not been driven much, get a spray can of brake cleaner and give that a try then go and do a nice 30min drive and see how you get on. did you not test-drive it before you got the car ?
