Very white up north at the moment. Took the QQ across hilly snow covered roads to get home and it didn't miss a beat. Tried the snow mode and that got me out of the hill out of the car park without the slightest issue. The snow mode certainly dulls the effect of the accelerator so you don't spin the wheels.

Although tyres are generally more important that AWD, and I have changed to all season tyres, I think the QQ did very well indeed.

What will stop it is deep snow as it doesn't have the clearance of larger 4x4s but I would aim to stay put in such deep snow if at all possible.

I wonder if it would have just done as well if you hadn't changed the tyres too all season ones ??

Probably not. All season tyres perform so much better in winter than summer tyres.
