Hi all,
is the rear bumper all one part? or is the middle plastic bit removable. I've attached a pic to help with what I mean
'69 plate Tekna .
Thanks
Jon

Thanks Gloucester. looks one piece then. Someone drove into the back of me and has marked the middle plastic bit and was hoping that this would be the only bit that needed changing - oh well!

I got their details and they were lovely about it. I was thinking it was only a minor bit of damage that would only need to replace the plastic portion of bumper. I don't want to go through insurance in the first instance - but looking like that will be the case. I would always advise to contact your insurers and report an incident. Ive done that and put it 'On Hold' while we see if its cheap enough to do.
NB always get witness names numbers/emails. get CCTV, get photos etc etc

Try one of the dent removal companies, they usually have good knowledge of plastic bumper repairs, I had my old Merc B Class rear bumper repaired, it was cracked in one or two places, my fault :D , repair was around £120 and a new looking bumper after.
Past cars Mercedes B Class, S Class, E Class Estate, E Class Coupe, G Wagen, 260E interspersed with Peugeot 406 and Audi Coupe.
