A full tank has roughly 13 gallons (60l), so based on my average anywhere from 442-546-663miles
34 average on highway
42 average/countryside
51 my absolute best
.
the 2022 Qashqai has a 55 litre fuel tank.
I know it says 55l in the manual, but when I got the car the dealer told me he put 2l of fuel in, and at the gas station I put another 57l.
The pomp stopped automatically at 57l, I did not overflow it.
.
Interesting, thanks for sharing this knowledge

I'm averaging around 40mpg, doing the typical everyday things, without any eco driving in mind.

It was a nice afternoon so went for a cruise down a nice quiet route I know well and went for an economy run.
No town driving, no traffic, gentle cornering, no start/stops, smooth acceleration up to speed limits. So it wasn't 'driving miss daisy' either.

I was shocked when I looked down and saw 58mpg.

The Xtronic gearbox works incredibly well at getting the car up to speed without needing the need for revs.

This is my first nissan with a cvt. They seem to have introduced artificial 'gear shifts' when you accelerate harder, instead of the engine just revving it's nuts off.
In sport mode the gearbox really comes alive. It allows the engine to rev much higher and those artificial 'gear shifts' are much more noticeable, more like a DSG Auto.
And unlike any auto I have driven, it actually downshifts as you decelerate. The more aggressive your driving is, the more aggressive the gearbox is, it's fantastic.

I'm glad I'm only keeping this one for 3 years though. That's a lot to go wrong in an already fragile design, or.... Maybe nissan have cracked it this time?

Wow xaote : 58mpg ... so 4 l / 100 is possible !

That makes your Xtronic version IMHO far better in regard to fuel consumption than my 6 MT J12 !!!

Today trip managed 6,1L/100km in ECO at average speed of 70km/h. Considering I have AWD I am already satisfied.

I still have a feeling that ECO is trying to rev lower comparing STANDARD, but this is not always possible. It means you loose responsiveness but not improved consumption.

Yes, all eco does is dull the throttle response, sport makes it more sensitive to throttle. Can’t see any difference in mpg from it.

I'm quite surprised some people getting above 50mpg. Or even 40mpg. Been going through so many reviews whilst waiting for my one to arrive and see reviewers moaning about the MPG getting roughly 33-36mpg. Sounds good that actual users of the car are getting good MPG.

Just bummed that the E-Power comes out next year, but my lease is coming to an end and Glyn Hopkins really want used cars to sell so they offered me a great deal on the new one.

People getting close to 50 MPG were doing everything to get there.
I would be surprised this could be reached with 'ordinary' driving around (and/or unless there was close to no other traffic!)

Well, sorry to prove your theory wrong in all aspects, but on a journey today up and down dale I was surprised to see a new high on the dash of over 50mpg achieved on that journey. I was driving as I always would in an ordinary way completely.
