71 Plate QQ Tekna Bose 138 Manual
Have kept a record of fuel economy over the last year with mix of Town, Country roads and Motorway journeys:
Highest calculated Mpg 50
Lowest Calculated Mpg 34
Average Calciulated Mpg 45

The figures from the car are within 1 to 2 mpg of my calculated figures

3 months in and my fuel economy has averaged 36mpg over 2000 miles.

Most of my journeys are short and around town, i use A/C and heated seats/steering wheel regularly on these short journeys and would say my MPG around town is 28 - 36.

Ive had a few longer journeys where i my MPG has ranged from 36 - 48.

A couple that stand out
47.7 mpg with the car fully loaded with family/luggage mixed motorway and country roads (60 mile journey)
42.3 mpg car fully loaded with family/luggage and full roof box (150 mile journey) mostly motorway.

First 140km (87miles) with a J12 e-power.

Fuel economy of board computer 5.4lt/100km (about 52mpg), with 30-35km of city traffic and the other 100km out of the city with moments of max. speed in 120km/h (75mph).

Average speed 51km/h (32mph).

I'm getting not even close to that - best is aroudn 30MPG. Most of the time I'm getting 11MPG according to the computer.

I think the car is faulty as the heating is always hot, no matter what setting it is on.

Here's the average fuel consumption in the second 5000 km: 48.9 mpg (17.3 km/l). :D
It has improved from 48.2 mpg in the first 5000 km (see my previous post on page 12).
80% on suburban roads at 90 km/h (56 mph)
20% urban.
Mostly in ECO mode and using standard cruise control.

I always drive the Tekna gtronic on ECO. I find it too responsive for normal drive on STD. also switch off start/stop whenever I remember as stop cuts in before 0mph on the auto. However, re the MPG, I'm averaging 38mpg in 19 months. Attached is my avg and most recent fill.

Has anyone done a real mpg test, ie filling the tank to the brim then returning to the same pump at quarter full.
To me it’s the only way to truly find out what real mpg you’re getting, never trusted dashboard monitor to give you a true read out.

Had a 2017 1.5 dci Accenta premium with pan roof and vision pack. Now have 2020 1.3 Tekna .

I always - without fail to date - fill the tank and I always input the data to the Android app "FillUp" which gives the stats above.
I agree the dash stats can be a bit off.
