Electronic handbrake/hold assist.

Another Nissan Gremlin appeared today, whilst driving I noticed a warning icon appear on the dash, well the handbrake light actually. Pulled over when it was safe too. Turned off the ignition and the red electronic handbrake light (on the lever) was flashing, also the brake assist light would not light up both on the switch and dashboard? Tried several attempts to engage the parking brake both manually and with the seatbelt unbuckled, no sign/noise of the handbrake engaging, car rolled backwards until I pushed the brake pedal.
Hmmm not good me thinks, foot brake seemed to work ok so decided to continue my journey home (3 miles)
Pulled into my driveway and handbrake light still lit up on the dash but brake not engaging, no brake assist either both on the button or dash, put car in gear and disconnected the battery.
An hour or so later, reconnected battery and all was fine, everything seems to be working as it should.
Seems like another phone call to the dealership I think.

Which comes at €1000... so better to happen during the warranty period
