Judder then smoke…

Afternoon all,

Come across this forum whilst having a google with a problem I’m having.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
The Qashqai in question is acenta dci 2012 1.5 diesel

Couple months ago or so I noticed the car blowing smoke. Obviously driving I couldn’t really see what colour. This would happen maybe once in a blue moon so I didn’t bother looking into it.
This month it’s happening a lot.
My journey to work is 10 miles, 1 mile to the motorway - 8 miles at sitting at 70mph - then 1 mile at 30.
Once I hit the 6 miles ( it’s the same spot on the motorway everytime ) the car judders & that’s when the smoke starts piling out the back. When I accelerate from a roundabout the smoke still billows out - but sitting idling it’s fine.
My co worker said the smoke was blue yesterday, as he asked me to rev it.
However when I travel home - it’s fine - no smoke & no judder 🤷‍♀️
I have no warning lights - everything on the dash is fine, I’m not using any more diesel then usual.
Passed its MOT last week with no problems so I’m looking for ideas what to look at..?
Love this little car but reluctant to spend an absolute fortune on it.
Again any help / ideas would be great

Difficult to pinpoint really. Blue smoke is oil though, and its passing through the combustion chambers....its being burnt. Burnt sufficiently to cause the engine to mis-fire and probably judder. Engine starved of correct fuel mix and near stalling.

Its along those lines I'd say. But where is the oil getting in?

Welcome to this forum.

This has been going on for two months? Why ignore it? Because it might go away?

Surely if you see something amiss you get it seen to without delay?

I'd have to say I'm flummoxed as to why it's only in the morning not the afternoon.

Did you mention it when the car was MOTed? If so, did they pop a code reader on it? What the the emissions result?

When did you last check the oil level?
